ASKA
Aska is a LA based musician, composer, and artist with a magical slant. Aska took a step back from the perfection of classical music she was trained in and started experimenting by performing in various bands throughout the years, but eventually returning solo and to songwriting.
After “There Are Many Of Us”, a song from her first EP was featured in Spike Jonze’s short film “I’m Here” and won Best Original Music at the AICP Awards, Aska turned her attention to composing for films and documentaries, as well as fashion campaigns and advertisements. She recently composed for the documentary “The Wolfpack” selected in the 2015 Sundance Film Festival (Documentary Competition), as well as for fashion campaigns including Alexander McQueen, Kate Spade and Anne Taylor.
